A CHRISTMAS MANIFESTO

Journal your Christmas 2011 and Christmas cards

I have finished my journal in preparation for Shimelle’s JYC 2011(see www.shimelle.com for details). It’s four years since I did this annual journal & I really want to complete it since it’s our little boys first Christmas.

To make the daily scrapbooking easier I have prepared all of the pages ready for journalling & adding photos.

I have also used all old stash. The only new items I have bought is the Kraft A4 ring binder & paper from paperchase. All of the papers & most of the embellishments are from an Anna Griffin scrapbook kit which I bought from QVC ages ago. It moves away from the traditional Christmas red & green for a change.

I’m managing to get my Christmas cards made during the boy’s midday naps & once he has gone to bed. I am using mainly humphreys corner decoupage this year. I’ve had the images decoupaged for a while & just needed to prepare the card & insert. I really must start my cards for next Christmas early next year to make sure they get done as I’ll be back to work then.
