Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Hubs and I went to my mam’s last night to carve our pumpkins. As it happened all I had to do with mine was carve out the pattern as hubs scraped the inside out which I think is the worst part of it. I also baked some bat shaped biscuits. After a lovely relaxing week off work in Scotland, I went back today to the reality only for a few hours & back on for 7.45 in the morning.

We attended the Teardrop memorial service this afternoon, which is an annual event for parents & families who have lost children through miscarriage, stillbirth or neo natal death. This is our second service since losing Charlotte and it doesn’t get any easier. Although it was a great comfort knowing in approx 8 weeks we will have our second baby with us.

We have only had three knocks on the door tonight so overall it’s been a peaceful Halloween!

Take care
Lisa
